White cannot be allowed to consolidate in this position and , as we know, the last rear checker must pay a price to depart and so 6/4* is virtually mandatory.
After that put the spare on the 20-pt to work with 20/15, although 13/8 is OK.
20/13 and 8/3, 5/3 are both much to passive. Backgammon is a war and Red’s soldiers must be put to work!
