Match Play. Red leads 4-1 to 7. Should Red double? If doubled, should White take?
For money this double and a massive pass but once again the skewed score is a huge factor. Red needs to make his 4-pt before he can double even though the position will be a big pass for White.
Holding a 2-cube White will redouble very quickly if the game turns in his favour. Red does better to play on and keep the cube centred. Of course, he may end up playing on for a gammon when the two points won would get him to Crawford with his opponent on an odd number and that would be ideal.
