Match Play. Double Match Point. How should Red play 11?

The hitting play bar/22*, 24/23 wins more gammons but that is irrelevant here. We are only concerned with game winning chances.

Making the 5-pt is correct with either 24/23 or 8/7 as the fourth ace. Taking the long-term asset, particularly with three White checkers trapped behind a growing prime, is the correct strategy here.

Bar 22*;22/21 I believe is the right idea here ATS. But it's close.

Pure play is often right at DMP, so my choice is B/24, 6/5(2), 8/7.

The tempation is to hit, but I think long term prospects are better with the 5pt made. I'd play bar 23,6/5(2).
