Money Play. How should Red play 63?

6/off, 3/off is very nearly a blunder as Red will miss with all future threes.

6/3, 5/off is clearly correct leaving Red with an even number of checkers to bear off and no gaps. This is a simple technique and one of the easiest problems this year but it is surprising how many people play without thinking!

6/3,5/off. Taking two checkers off here does not save a roll and creates an ugly gap. My preferred play leads to a smoother bear off.
